Apprentice AME

As a member of Capital Helicopters maintenance team you will be trained and mentored and as you gain more experience you can start undertaking more responsibility. This transitional period has no time limit and is based on an individual bases. Our goal is to help you become an accomplished engineer and for you to hold ACA within Capital Helicopters. During your apprenticeship journey, as your confidence and experience grows you can look forward to becoming more independent. This would include scheduled maintenance on all aircraft operated by Capital Helicopters, AOG troubleshooting and related maintenance tasks. We ask all of our apprentices to strive for excellence while communicating with colleagues, clients, vendors and all other industry professionals. It is important to Capital that all of our apprentices have the ability to self-manage, create/meet deadlines, and have a keen eye for aviation quality control. As a team member of our maintenance department, you may be asked to travel to job sites across the territory and beyond via crew vehicle or commercial airlines. Its important that you feel confident to complete work tasks in various weather condition/climates and night operations.
